Our US road trip plan
Since James is on winter vacation from school, we have decided to do do something exciting. I am expecting my second baby and it is due on Aug 3rd. We knew that we can't really do much on James's summer vacation, so we decided to travel in the US visiting our friends and relatives. Originally, we were thinking about only staying in the west. When people on Youtube invited us over to cities in the East, we decided to do a cross-country trip. :)
This is the video that we uploaded about our road trip at first.
Now, we have a more specific plan for our trip.
We are going to leave our Idaho home this Saturday on the 15th of Feb.
We are going to spend a night in Utah and then head to Las Vegas on the 16th.
We will spend one or two nights in Las Vegas and then will head to Los Angeles. In Los Angeles area, we have many friends, so we will spend 4 or 5 days in Los Angeles.
After that, we will come back to Las Vegas and then go to Grand Canyon.
We will spend a night in Grand Canyon and then will head to Santa Fe, New Mexico. I heard the city is very beautiful. After that, we will go to Dallas and Austin to meet James's relatives.
After that, we will pass by San Antonio and Houstin, and then we will head to New Orleans, Louisiana. I heard that there will be a festival called Mardi Gras. After spending one night there, we will go to Florida. We will drive around Florida, and then we are not really sure if we would like to go through Georgia or South Carolina, but I think we will probably go through Georgia, Atlanta. After that, we will go to Washington DC, Philadelphia, and then New York!
We will go to Boston after that, and we will pass by upstate of New York and head to Chicago. We will go down to Saint Louise after that, and we will meet some of our friends there. After that we will go to Denver, Colorado and Cheyenne, Wyoming to meet our friends. After that, we will come back to Idaho! :)
It is a pretty crazy trip, but I think we will have a lot of fun doing this.
I can't wait to meet many new people on the way and make friends with them.
