Our 2012

Image
We have done so many things this year. 1. We moved to the USA. James got into a school in the USA. We moved to the USA, our third country after our marriage. People don't stared at us like Asians in Asia. We finally feel like we are normal people. hehehe. The USA is truly a place where there are various people living. But, James sometimes says he misses those Asians who stare at him and make him feel like a celebrity. No thanks for me. lol. 2. We added a new member to our family. Yuri was the best thing ever happened to me. She is a really good baby. She hardly cries. She eats well. She poops well. lol. She is so lovely and cute. I love her so much. 3. We have met so many good people and made new good friends in 2012. Woods family who let us stay in their basement before we got our own apartment. Dobsons who tricked us to go hiking with them and go to Table Rock. (We like them a lot.) Johanna who I loved to talk on the phone with until she moved to a small town where she couldn...

Dating tips when you are dating a Korean girl

Image
First of all, I am telling you that this tips and advice is a totally personal opinion of mine. Some might think differently, but since I was born and raised in Korea, I can say I am pretty much very Korean. lol. Let me give you some tips that you need to know when you are dating a Korean girl or when you want to make your Korean girlfriend happy. 1. Korean girls like publicity. If you show your affection in public, she will seem shy, but she will like it. That is why Korean men are always very stressed about how they can make the woman happy by organizing some special party or proposal usually in public (or with bunch of friends). 2. Koreans like couple stuff. Korean couples like to match together. They have couple shirts, couple rings, couple shoes, couple cellphones, couple cellphone charms, couple bags, even couple swimsuits!! You might need to get prepared to do these things when you have a Korean boyfriend or girlfriend. 3. Korean girls are quite passive in relationships. They li...

Our Korean Traditional Wedding

Image
I had always dreamed about having a Korean Traditional Wedding. Now, most Koreans do western style wedding. I wanted something different and something unforgettable. I wanted to go really Korean. :) When I asked for my parents' opinion, they agreed and thought that they would be a good idea. James and I spent quite a lot of money on making our hanbok for the wedding. I felt like spending that much on hanbok and wear only one or two times will be wasting too much. But,,, oh well. We have only one wedding, right? lol.  So, we got our own hanbok. We took rehearsal wedding pictures with hanbok on. My grandma's sister made them for us. I really like the hanbok. :) So... We were ready with nice hanbok, and I made a reservation for the wedding ceremony in Yongin Traditional Folk village. This is a very famous Korean Folk Village. We invited people around us, and James's mom even came to see our wedding. The wedding day arrived. Oh, no.... Oh, God... Why are you doing this to us......
